At iStock, I've collected (so far) 445 very cool textures. Not my own, but a wide collection of other submitters. I'm not talking about general grunge here, but textures that brings your mind to far away planets. Real Science Fiction stuff. If you look for something special, then start here!

The Metal Texture

If there's one picture that has surprised me, then it's this one. It's my top seller at iStock (333dls with flames and all), at Stockxpert too and when I finally uploaded it to Shutterstock recently it became an instant top seller there too. (It's not my top seller at Dreamstime, however, because they ironically didn't think it was fit for stock. Such is the world of stock photo.)

First post

I'm setting up a blog for my microstock photos, since I have quite a few different accounts at various microstock agencies (see the links to the right). I have a website, but a blog is more relaxing for me I suppose.
So, the main purpose of this blog is to showcase my photos and occasionally post other stuff too.
My photos usually go in the category of textures. Textures certainly do not sell as well as pictures of people, but they don't need a model release and they're never late. They're versatile but also they often have an abstract quality that gives me personal satisfaction as a photographer:
